General Information

The next LWS TR&T SEP focus group meeting will be held at Caltech on January 10-11th, 2008.
Please email me if you plan to attend, so I can get a rough head count.
While you are at the meeting messages can be left with Debby at (626) 395-6611 and faxes sent to (626) 449-8676.

We will make arrangements for guest accounts on the campus wireless internet.  Details will be available at the meeting.

Lunch will be either at the Chandler Cafe or the Athenaeum both of which are on campus.

Hotel Information

A list of hotels with negotiated Caltech rates can be found here.
You should be able to get the negotiated rate by just mentioning that you are going to a Caltech meeting.  If you have any problems let me know.
I recommend that you rent a car as none of the hotels are close walking distance to Caltech.

Directions, Maps, Parking

The meeting will be held in South Mudd which is building 21 (lower left corner) on this campus map.  We will be in the Salvatori Conference room which is located near the top of the main staircase at the southwest corner of the building, which you'll easily reach from the public entrance that's nearest the corner of Wilson Ave and California Blvd. When you reach the top of the stairs, at the third floor, turn left and go outside the glass double doors. The Salvatori Room is just ahead of you.

Parking on campus is no longer free.  I may be able to get daily parking passes for everyone, alternatively you can buy a day permit at the pay stations in/near the parking garages.  I suggest you park in either the parking structure just south of California Blvd (structure 126 on the map) or the one just west of Wilson Ave (structure 124 on the map).

Maps of the airports servicing Pasadena and the relative location to Caltech can be seen on this map.  Burbank is the closest airport but, since it is small, it does not service all airlines equally.
