Till we could wait no more, The time had come To open the baby door.
Nine months of growing
On the day of the twelfth,
A few good pushes,
She's such a sweet baby, |
Raisa, her middle, Cohen's the last, With that we can't fiddle.
A full twenty-one inches,
It's been a few days now
So try to forgive us

My first name is in honor of my great-great grandmother Jenny. My middle name is in honor of my great-great aunt Rose. Both women were strong, loving and wonderful. I also have a Hebrew name, Nadya Raisel. Nadya means 'hope' and Raisel is Yiddish for 'rose.' I had a naming ceremony when I was 8 days old. Here is a picture of me, my parents, Bubby and Zeide (left), Grandma (right) and Grandpa (holding me).
